Safe Date is a class project I did for General Assembly’s User Experience Design class. The purpose of Safe Date is to help protect women and men from sexual harassment, abuse, and many of the other unfortunate situations that can happen with modern dating. This app was created in the spring of 2017, soon after the #metoo #timesup movement came to fruition. My hope is to find funding for this tool to help empower everyday people to fight back against sexual harassment, just as the famous women of Hollywood have been able to fight using their fame and the media as their tools.
